On Wednesday, Jan. 20, Hudson Valley Community College is teaming up with Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany and the Regional Food Bank of Northeastern New York to address food insecurity with a fourth food distribution event on campus.
The food distribution, or “drive-thru pantry,” will be held on campus beginning at 9:30 a.m. The event is open to the public and no preregistration is required. In order to maintain safety and social distancing, there will be two distribution lines: a drive-through line and a walk-in line.
This event is part of Catholic Charities’ mobile outreach initiative, “CC MOVE,” an effort to provide supplemental and emergency food in areas with limited access to services at a time when many are struggling.
