On Friday, April 10, Physical Plant must replace a transformer at Higbee Hall. The transformer is showing signs of potential failure that warrants replacement to avoid an unplanned outage in the near future.
This replacement will affect power to 11 buildings on campus: Higbee, Lang, Haas, Siek Campus Center, Fitzgibbons, Brahan, Guenther, Administration, BTC and the parking garage.
There will be no impact to off-campus access during or after the work. A few people to be affected by the outage are being notified directly by ITS.
Weather permitting, the work will begin at 7 a.m. and take about six hours to complete. Current rain date is Monday, April 13.
