The college’s Workforce Development Institute is offering a new, non-credit course: Spanish for Law Enforcement I.
The 15-week, online course runs Sept. 26 through Dec. 19. Students have the benefit of progressing each week at their own pace and their work is instructor-facilitated. Students also will partner with other students online to complete assignments.
Designed for those in the law enforcement professions, this course introduces the student to the basic structures and sounds of the Spanish language through a situational approach that includes the language pre-professionals and professionals may encounter in settings such as police stations, emergency situations, prisons and on the street.
