Attention golfers!
Please consider signing up to play – teams are encouraged! – in the Charity Golf Tournament on Thursday, June 13 at the Hales Mill Country Club in Johnstown. The event benefits the Leatherstocking Honor Flight, Salute to Service Veterans Coalition and the Broadalbin American Legion.
I am a flight nurse for the Leatherstocking Honor Flight. We take Veterans to the memorials in DC, all expenses paid. It’s a trip of a lifetime for our Veterans. Leatherstocking Honor Flight is funded 100% by donations and fundraising events like this golf tournament.
The day-long event begins with a Shotgun Start at 10 a.m. and includes golf, breakfast, buffet dinner, contests, giveaways, raffles and more. I will be manning a 50/50 drawing at the putting green and would love to see some folks from HVCC on the course!
