On Friday, April 5, from 9 – 10 a.m., representatives from the Viking’s Cove Bookstore, the campus print shop, and the library will be on hand in the library’s Multipurpose Room to briefly review procedures and to respond to questions related to OER (open educational resource) textbooks. The “Working with the Bookstore & Print Shop” section of the OER subject guide was recently updated and will answer many frequently asked questions.
This meeting is open to faculty currently using or exploring OERs as well as to department chairs and technical and program assistants who complete department textbook orders. Please note that this meeting is specifically addressing working with the bookstore and/or the print shop. This is not a general Q&A session about getting started with OER.
