The Human Services/Addictions Counseling Program has been awarded Opioid Settlement Funds to finance scholarships for students to complete and associate degree in combination with the 350-hour CASAC educational certificate program. The funds will also allow us to assist students with mandatory fees and books, as well as stipends for students completing internships in the program. Scholarship funds will also cover student application fees (to the program), CASAC application and exam fees, and administrative costs. The college will receive two separate two-year contracts for a total of $340,601. Hudson Valley was one of 15 community colleges chosen for this scholarship money.
