The college community is invited to celebrate the construction of Hudson Valley’s new Outdoor Athletic Complex!
Join us for the ceremonial groundbreaking on Monday, May 9 at 2 p.m. at the Right Field Pavilion of Joseph L. Bruno Stadium as we recognize donors and sponsors of the $4.5 million project. The event will feature special presentations and remarks by college leaders and students as well as refreshments.
The complex will be complete in August 2016 and includes new state-of-the-art turf and natural grass fields, an eight-lane track, a concession area and box office, grandstand seating and bleachers, a scoreboard and lighting. The facilities will be on the site of the current soccer/lacrosse/football fields and serve academic and athletic departments as well as community organizations and the general public.
Funding for the project was provided by the Faculty Student Association of Hudson Valley Community College, Inc. and New York State, the Athletic Department, Student Senate class gifts, and corporate and individual donors.
