On Thursday, July 30, staff from the Learning Assistance Center and Center for Academic Engagement provided a virtual summer bridge workshop to students in our Capital Region BOCES P-TECH program. Students participated in sessions on Time Management, Learning Strategies/Study skills, and how to navigate Blackboard. These students will be enrolling in College Forum, English Composition I, and Intro to Criminal Justice this fall.
Parents also had an opportunity to meet with DeAnne Martocci from the Center for Access and Assistive Technology, Rachel Jones from Admissions and myself to discuss the transition from high school to college and the services and support available.
Thank you all for your participation in these successful events and supporting our P-TECH partners.
