On Aug. 6, Chief Diversity Officer Ainsley Thomas and Admissions Counselor Keith Danzy gained invaluable insight during the Making of a Man conference that was held at the Renaissance Hotel in Albany. This year’s theme was the Art of Navigating Fatherhood.
The conference aimed to empower men of color and featured several men of color from across the nation, who shared their stories of success. They provided strategies on how to become the best version of oneself and become successful in business, education and family life.
The conference also awarded two $10,000 scholarships to formerly incarcerated individuals pursuing education in the trades.
