If you enjoy helping other students and have a few hours a week in your schedule to devote to a part-time, paid on-campus job, then Peer Tutoring may be just the thing for you!
Requirements for Peer Tutors:
- Must be a registered student at Hudson Valley Community College for the semester tutoring
- On the President’s or Dean’s List and have a faculty recommendation
- Or be a quality student with a recommendation from a faculty member for the course in which you wish to tutor
- Successfully complete an interview and Peer Tutor training in order to be hired
To apply to be a Peer Tutor:
- Send an email to Aaron Nooney at a.nooney@hvcc.edu requesting an application and indicate which subject(s) you would like to tutor or if you have any questions.
** Peer tutoring is a paid student worker position that works around your class schedule! **
