If you enjoy helping other students and have a few hours a week in your schedule to devote to a part-time, paid job, then Peer Tutoring may be for you!
We are planning to have peer tutors available on campus or remotely, whichever is appropriate.
Students interested in being a Peer Tutor, MUST:
— be a registered student at HVCC for the semester tutoring
— be on the President’s or Dean’s List and have a faculty recommendation, OR be a quality student with a recommendation from a faculty member for the course in which you wish to tutor
— Successfully complete an interview and Peer Tutor training in order to be hired
To apply to be a Peer Tutor:
— Send an email to Aaron Nooney at a.nooney@hvcc.edu requesting an application and indicate which subject(s) you would like to tutor or if you have any questions
