“Pillow Talk,” an exhibition of paintings and sculptures by Amanda Michael Harris, is on view through Friday, Aug. 10 in the Troy Savings Bank Charitable Foundation Atrium in the Marvin Library.
A reception with the artist is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 18.
Work in this exhibition assembles various shapes, textures and patterns, emphasizing the playfulness of these elements as part of the artist’s ongoing investigation of interpersonal boundaries and societal expectations in our day-to-day relationships. Born in Memphis, TN, Harris now lives in Troy. She holds a BFA degree in printmaking/papermaking and a MS degree in Art Education.
The exhibition is open during regular library hours.
