Please continue to wear a mask!

COVID-19 vaccination levels are gradually increasing, and in fact vaccination rates are higher among our students, faculty and staff when compared to the broader community. This is a great credit to our students and employees, but we must continue to be diligent in observing important health and safety protocols such as mask usage to prevent the spread of the virus.

In the interest of doing our part and keeping each other safe, especially with colder weather approaching and more time being spent indoors, please continue to wear your masks. Please do so regardless of vaccination status. Masks must be worn indoors (including in instructional settings), unless you are alone in a private office or classroom, or while eating or drinking. (When you are finished eating, please reapply your mask.) Individuals with an exemption granted by the Center for Access and Assistive Technologies do not need to wear a mask. Additionally, even if you are fully vaccinated, please wear your mask outside if you are in a large group of individuals. Individuals who are not fully vaccinated must still wear a mask outdoors per school guidance at all times.

The CDC has issued guidance for mask usage and ways to improve the fit and filtration of your mask to reduce the spread of COVID-19. Please take a moment to review this information and adhere to the latest guidance. Keeping our college community safe is of the utmost importance to us. Continuing to wear our masks is a small step everyone can take to help us reach that goal.
