Hudson Valley Community College is honored to once again host the regional Poetry Out Loud recitation competition on Tuesday, Feb. 5 at 6 p.m. in the BTC Auditorium.
Poetry Out Loud is a national recitation contest for high school students, created by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Poetry Foundation, in which students perform their interpretations of works they’ve chosen from a diverse list of more than 900 poems.
The winner and runner-up selected at this event will compete at the state finals in New York City in March.
