On Saturday, Nov. 20, the Student Senate hosted the first-ever Pride Ball on campus in observance of Transgender Day of Remembrance.
The event honored the memory of the transgender individuals who have lost their lives due to violent acts. About 55 students and staff members attended the event that included catering by Mazzone Hospitality, music and the catwalk. Students took to the red carpet catwalk that highlighted different categories, such as Vogue, Drag and Lip Sync.
