The annual Pride of Our Nation…Pride of Our Campus exhibit each fall celebrates the faculty, staff and students (and their forebearers) who have served in a military capacity.
Students, faculty and staff are again encouraged to submit photographs (original or scanned) of loved ones or relatives who have served or are currently serving in the United States armed forces to Assistant Professor Alice Malavasic for the exhibit. She can be reached at a.malavasic@hvcc.edu (MRV 110), 629-7697, and submissions will be accepted through October 9.
Previously submitted photographs will again be included in the display, which will be shown in the Marvin Library.
New submissions must meet the following criteria.
Photographs must be of a family member or relative in uniform during his or her time in service and include a 5 x 7 typed statement that includes the following information:
- Name of the serviceperson and time of service or conflict served in.
- branch of service and any additional information such as rank, regiment, company, awards and battles fought in.
- Your name and relationship to the serviceperson in the photograph. If you are a student, please include your major. If you are a staff or faculty member, please include your department.
