As we now are in the full swing of the Fall semester, I wish to remind the Campus Community of available safety information:
As of Oct. 1, our new Public Safety Annual Security Report is available at www.hvcc.edu/publicsafety/securityreport.pdf. You also may request a printed copy by contacting Public Safety at 629-7210. Printed copies soon will be distributed to many locations throughout campus.
This report, as well as Public Safety’s Web pages (www.hvcc.edu/publicsafety/), contain a variety of safety information, applicable laws, procedures and policies. It also shows crime statistics for our campus, which continue to remain low. However, we should always continue to be aware, alert and vigilant.
Lastly, as a reminder, please be certain to sign up and update your information in the NY Alert Emergency Notification System. An overview is available at the following link: www.hvcc.edu/nyalert/.
