Recycling is easy on the Hudson Valley Community College campus! Just look for the large blue bins or totes near garbage and waste bins, or if you’re in the Science Center look for recycling bins in the wooden cabinets next to the classroom doors on every floor.
The HVCC Recycling Guide answers any question you may have about what can be recycled on campus. It is easier than you may think! For example, disposable plastic salad containers bought at Market 32 or on campus can be rinsed out and recycled, just look for the numbers 1-7 on the lid and container. Getting a quick drink at Dunkin’ Donuts or Cumberland Farms? Toss the straw and lid, but recycle the cup!
