On Feb. 26, 2015, President Drew Matonak made a special classroom visit to wish Happy Birthday to Kenny Williams, retired college librarian and life-long learner. Williams, whose actual birthday is Feb. 27, died Feb. 5 in Troy.
Mr. Williams had taken classes, on and off, at Hudson Valley Community College since 1979 and as recently as fall 2015 when he audited a political science course. He also was a big Tri-City ValleyCats fan and will be missed at all home games.
