The college, in partnership with the Marvin Library Archives, has an ongoing project. It is a collection of books, journal articles, and artistic works, authored or created by students, staff and faculty of the college (both past and present).
Known as the College Authors and Artists Collection, the goal of the project is to preserve a record of these works, and also follow the authors and artists in their careers at Hudson Valley Community College and beyond.
If you have, or know any faculty or student that was published or had artwork displayed, please contact John Staerker (j.staerker@hvcc.edu or 629-7323) so it can be added to the collection. The article or artwork does not have to be academic in nature, just something that you or they singularly or with partners created.
