The Friends of Oakwood will host its popular Daffodil Brunch on Sunday, April 14 in the historic Gardner Earl Memorial Chapel at Oakwood Cemetery. Seatings will be at 10 a.m. and noon.

Reservations — $20 per person — will be accepted beginning Friday, Feb. 1. The event sells out quickly and no tickets will be sold at the door. Attendance is limited to 100 people per seating. Children under 5 are free, but must be included in the seat count.

Reserve tickets at 518-328-0090 with your seating choice, name, phone number, and how many people, including children. DO NOT leave a credit card number. You will be called back for details. Payment must be received in full within 10 days of your reservation call. Checks may be mailed or dropped off at Oakwood Cemetery, 50 101st Street, Troy, NY 12180. (Refunds will be issued only for cancellations made before 4 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10 by calling 518-328-0090).

In addition to a sumptuous buffet in the ornate Gardner Earl Chapel, attendees may enjoy a Mimosa or Bellini (optional cash purchase), take a ride in an antique auto courtesy of Jack Byrne Ford, and if the weather cooperates, view thousands of newly-bloomed daffodils!

The Friends of Oakwood is a non-profit volunteer group working to support the preservation and maintenance of the non-sectarian chapel and grounds of Troy’s still-active historic 19th century Oakwood Cemetery. New members welcome!
