In an effort to better manage curriculum proposal submission and time in first review, the Curriculum Committee will be using a revised version of the curriculum proposal checklist beginning Fall 2013 as agreed to by Dr. Carolyn Curtis and the Deans.
The revised checklist provides an additional column to be initialed by the proposer or other appropriate personnel as the required forms are completed and included in the proposal packet. Initials on the checklist will indicate the required forms, appropriate position statements, and evidence of faculty involvement and position are complete, signed if necessary, and included in the proposal packet. Proposals should not be submitted for first review unless all of the appropriate forms/position statements are complete, signed when necessary, included in the proposal packet, and the checklist has been initialed indicating such.
The revised proposal checklist has been posted in the Curriculum Committee folder located in the Academic Senate Blackboard Community. Log in to Blackboard and open the Academic Senate Community. Follow the following folder path to the revised proposal checklist: Committees -> Curriculum Committee -> CC Proposal Instructions and Forms -> proposal checklist link.
Please save the revised checklist to your computer for inclusion in all future curriculum proposals not already in progress.
