The inaugural class of RPI-HVCC Semiconductor Scholars recently visited GlobalFoundries for the second time this year.
From touring the FAB’s massive clean room to seeing how chips look under an electron microscope, the students have had the opportunity to experience each aspect of semiconductor manufacturing.
This summer, RPI will host the HVCC students for a multi-week research experience on their campus.
