Safety Tip from Public Safety

We at public safety are committed to trying to ensure all students, faculty and staff feel safe in their environment on campus. That means ensuring everyone knows there services in place to help make our campus a physically, mentally and emotionally safe environment for all.

Public Safety is here 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our presence on campus is meant to provide a measure of reassurance to all of the campus community and quick access to needed services. The familiarity and relationships that we have  established both within and outside of the college allow us to provide all of our students, faculty and staff with friendly and effective assistance when needed. So, our safety tip of the month: Make sure you have our number, 518-629-7210, saved in your phone.

As committed as we are, we cannot be everywhere all the time, and we rely on our campus community to inform us of anything that is a concern, from unsafe physical conditions, to a concerns about the behavior of another individual on campus. We have the resources and experience to deal most any situation that arises, and we are here to help. Our mission is to provide the safest environment we can, so that you can do the best you can, to be all that you can be, without worrying about your safety. Have a great semester!
