In an effort to provide veterans with free dental care and raise awareness of this resource, the HVCC Dental Hygiene Department is holding a “Salute Veterans With a Smile” event on Friday April 5, 2024 from 9 a.m. to noon in the Dr. Robert H. Hill II Dental Hygiene Clinic on the Hudson Valley campus!
During this event, up to 12 veterans will receive free preventative services of a comprehensive review of their medical and dental history, a comprehensive series of examinations, and recommendation of any necessary radiographs (x-rays) and intraoral digital photographs to determine their treatment needs, along with a dental cleaning. All services provided for participating veterans will be free of charge and delivered by senior Dental Hygiene students.
