Our inaugural event last year raised over $300,000 for Rett Syndrome research. Many thanks to Coach Parrow and the HVCC baseball team for volunteering at the 2022 event! If anyone is interested in volunteering for 2023 , please contact reverserettupstatenewyork@gmail.com or c.ryan2@hvcc.edu for more information. Volunteer shifts are two to three hours long and might involve face painting, selling raffle tickets, taking care of trash, running the dunk tank, or directing parking.
Rett Syndrome is a rare, severe neurological disorder that impacts breathing, walking, and talking, and causes seizures, anxiety, gastrointestinal, and orthopedic issues. For more information about Rett Syndrome please see the Rett Syndrome Research Trust website.
