The Middle States Steering Committee is immensely grateful for the members of our college community who contributed to a successful launch of the Self-Study. Your invaluable input and enthusiastic participation in Dr. Bonfiglio’s visit epitomized our inclusive, welcoming, cooperative HVCC culture.
Now to provide a brief update about the proposed Self-Study Design document. Overall, Dr. Bonfiglio was quite pleased with the document, expressing that it was very well composed and described. He offered enhancements to increase the reflective and analytical nature of the self-study. He had helpful comments regarding the Institutional Priorities and Intended Outcomes of our study, and suggested we consider condensing both the priorities and the outcomes to make them more streamlined. Often, less is more!
The campus community contributed to the first incarnation and we are grateful; the input you offered on the original version enriched it and added strength and clarity. You will be asked again to offer your wisdom, expertise, and critical eye as we use the self-study process in our efforts to continuously improve.
