The Foundation Scholarship Committee would like to remind all faculty and staff that the Faculty Staff Scholarship for Dependents of Hudson Valley Community College Employees is available to dependents who meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Must be a full-time matriculated student in Fall 2018
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher (or high school equivalent)
- Must meet the guidelines of dependent status as stated in the federal financial aid guidelines
Before applying, please keep in mind the following:
Many scholarships require submission of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Please be sure your FAFSA is on file before applying for scholarships.
The application process requires one, 250-word essay describing your educational and vocational objectives. This essay is used for all scholarships for which you are eligible – there is no need to write separate essays for each scholarship.
