The office of Community, Professional and Workforce Development is pleased to offer a School Violence Prevention class.
This training responds to the requirement for a two-hour certification course for teaching assistants, teachers, pupil personnel service professionals and administrators in New York State as part of the Safe Schools Against Violence in Education Act (SAVE). All participants will receive an approved NYS Education Department certificate upon completion of this training. It also can be used to fulfill the professional development plan requirement to provide a two-hour course for all currently certified educators and staff.
