The entire second floor of Amstuz will be closed all of next week, July 24 – 28.
Op-Tech, the college’s licensed asbestos abatement contractor, will barricade off the area and use tented enclosures to safely remove asbestos-containing insulation on pipes above the ceiling. Although the insulation is currently in good condition and poses no danger if left undisturbed, this proactive removal will eliminate the possibility of a future disturbance.
