Softball Takes Two from Adirondack

 

The softball team (6-6) defeated Adirondack Community College (1-7), 11-3 and 12-2, on Monday afternoon.

Gabriella Daniels (Troy/Troy) had a total of four hits on the day recording a double, two triples, and a homerun. Kayley O’Brien (Niskayuna/Niskayuna) and Sarah Patzwahl (Chatham/Canaan) each recorded two hits in game one, and Shayla Morris (Berlin/Berlin) got the win on the mound. In game two, O’Brien added three more hits and two RBIs, and Taylor Kleis (Chrysalis-Junita/Kirkland, WA) went 3-4 with two doubles, a triple, and three RBIs, while earning the win on the mound with five strikeouts.

The softball team travels to Broome Community College on Sunday, April 22 at 1p.m.
