Special offerings for Evening Students

 

In a continuing effort to provide services for our evening students the Enrollment Management & Student Development division will be offering the following services and programming.

TED TALK TUESDAYS:
Encourage your students to listen to engaging, charismatic speakers, whose talks expose new ideas on successful education programs, careers in business and the STEM industry, and tips on creative critical thinking relevant to broad international audiences. The video talks are scheduled from 4:30-5:30 p.m. every Tuesday in the Student Leadership Conference Center, Siek Campus Center 202.

WEDNESDAY EVENING COFFEE BREAK
Think your students need a late afternoon boost before their evening classes begin? Invite them to the Wednesday Evening Coffee, Tea & Cookie break from 4:30-5:30 p.m. at the follow locations:

  •  1st Wednesday — Science Building Café
  • 2nd Wednesday — BTC Lobby
  • 3rd Wednesday– Williams Hall
  • 4th Wednesday — Brahan Hall (lower-level)

Title IX Campus Safety & Violence Against Women Act (VAWA)
Information on campus safety, Title IX policies and procedures and the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) will be the topic each month for Sandra McCarthy, campus coordinator of the Judicial Process and Deputy Title IX Officer, and a representative from the Public Safety Office. The monthly workshops will be held from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the Marvin Library Multi-Purpose Room (upper level) every 4th Monday beginning in October.
