By now, I’m sure you have read President Ramsammy’s update indicating that Spring Break has been extended one week and no classes will be held the week of March 23. As such, some Spring 2020 dates and deadlines have been updated.
The Spring 2020 Registration Calendar has been revised with new dates for Part of Term 7 (Sprint) and is available at https://www.hvcc.edu/registrar/regcal-s20.pdf. The Instructional Calendar in the College Catalog and Events Calendar on the web have also been updated.
The submission date for Spring 2020 Degree/Certificate Applications has been extended to Friday, April 3. This date will also serve as the deadline for submission for a Summer 2020 applicant who would like his/her name to appear in the Commencement program.
Midterm grades are still due on Monday, March 16. The withdrawal deadline for Parts of Term 1, 4 and 5 will remain as Friday, April 17.
Implementing such changes under the circumstances with which we are currently faced can be challenging, but the Registrar’s Office is ready to support you and our students.
