Workshop #1 / Emergency Preparedness

A team presentation by members of the college’s emergency preparedness group will highlight what staff members need to know in a crisis situation.
Workshop #2 / Stryker Chair and Fire Safety Training
9:30-10:30 a.m.
Location: SCI 105
Presented by: Laurie Vivekanand and Maxine Ortiz
Experience hands-on training in the use of the Stryker evacuation chairs, which are used to assist those with mobility problems in an emergency. An overview of fire safety on campus will be discussed.
Workshop #3 / Defibrillator Training
10:45-11:45 a.m.
Location: SCI 110
Presented by: Brent Ricks and Anthony Caliguire
Participants will receive hands-on training in the usage of the Automatic External Defibrillators located around campus.
