Susan Raisch is a Staten Island resident who regularly writes under the blog name “The Tangled Ball.” Last week, a group of student and staff volunteers from Hudson Valley Community College arrived in her community to help out in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. Her blog post from Dec. 9 was a simple “Thank You!” to this kind and hard-working crew.
