Strategic Planning Process Begins Jan. 22

As Dr. Ramsammy mentioned in his welcome back message yesterday, we are beginning the process of developing a new Strategic Plan.  Our Strategic Planning consulting partner, Dr. Will Miller, has agreed to return to assist Hudson Valley with our future planning once again.  His first visit to campus will be on Monday, Jan. 22.  During his visit, he will present data and details about the planning process to the campus community.

Please plan to attend one of these opportunities to learn more about the Strategic Planning process and anticipated timelines. As in the past, our Strategic Plan will be built upon input from employees, students, business and K-12 partners, our Board of Trustees and other stakeholders. During the Spring semester, there will be multiple opportunities for ideas, opinions, knowledge and experiences to be offered for consideration.

On Monday, Jan. 22, please plan to attend one of the following presentations, which are open to the entire campus community:

  • 9:30 a.m. – BTC Meeting Rooms
  • 10:30 a.m. – BTC Meeting Rooms

For those who can’t make the morning sessions, Dr. Miller will be attending the Academic Senate meeting at 2:15 p.m., also in the BTC Meeting Rooms, to share information with the Senate. All are welcome.

Zoom links will be forthcoming for those who cannot attend in-person.  A recording of one of the sessions will also be made available after Will’s visit.
