On Monday, Feb. 5, Jeff Schoonmaker, emeritus physics professor and Student Christian Club advisor, will be teaching about the Holy Spirit at the club’s meeting beginning 2 p.m. in BRN 107.
Jeff is excited to be teaching about the Holy Spirit. The third person of the Trinity is often the one that Christians know the least about, even though He is the One who dwells in us. Jeff will give a brief overview of the Spirit’s role during Old Testament times before pointing out His role in drawing people to faith in Christ. But it is the Spirit’s ongoing work within us that is most exciting to know about, understand and cooperate with.
All are welcome to attend.
