Interested in working in the sports industry? The Tri-City ValleyCats have an on-campus internship opportunity, which can completed for credit by taking the BADM 290 (Internship) course in the Spring 2025 semester.
Students will work directly with staff from the ValleyCats and gain experience in marketing, sales, data analysis and business development strategies.
The first half of the internship will focus on the use of technology and data analysis to drive business development as well as a project related to ticket data. The second half will use what was learned about technology and data analysis to help market the team and learn about and contribute to the business development process.
The internship is open to all students and based on performance in the class, there may be an opportunity for a continuation of the internship during the ValleyCats season in the business development and marketing department.
