4.1 Update on website suggestions from last semester
♦ Seek additional opportunities to promote/highlight the existing “Where Do I Go For…” page online and in student communications
STATUS: Updated to read “Get Help: Where Do I Go For…” on the students page. Will be an ongoing effort.
♦ Create “New/Future Student” page with helpful content (i.e. Calendar, Enrollment Checklist, Get Started, etc.)
STATUS: Ongoing. Will need to work with enrollment and academic departments and consider how CRM Advise is used.
♦ Update committee on Ocelot chatbot approval/implementation plans
STATUS: Conducted product demonstrations with two partners/vendors: Ocelot and Campus Logic. Determined that Ocelot had broader range of use for primary enrollment offices. Secured funding (CARES Act). Now in process of purchasing; iImplementation set for May.
♦ Review web search feature functionality
STATUS: Ongoing. This will be a focus of our work with the web development and programming team in ITS. Search functionality remains a high priority for advertising optimization as well.
♦ Promote web tips/resources for employees in Campus Chronicle
STATUS: Ongoing.
♦ Consider partnering with CET on web resource workshop for employees
STATUS: Ongoing. The CET is rebranding or refocusing as center for Professional Excellence; interested in hearing about any changes.
♦ Use social media to share important web resources with students and others
STATUS: Ongoing.
♦ Discuss and change “My Hudson Valley Portal/Blackboard” to “Blackboard”
STATUS: Done throughout site.
♦ Consider video usage for communicating steps to enroll
STATUS: Ongoing. Some videos currently exist. Recently completed videos for Center for Careers and Transfer to promote services. Significant amount of work and time invested in CRM Recruit and Advise – structuring communication plans and messages. Videos could be a future step.
♦ Raise username/password concerns and process confusion with appropriate administrators
STATUS: Not sure this is in our area; will raise with Enterprise Operations/ITS.

4.2 Update on Blackboard app issues – Mobile Devices and Blackboard for Students information sheet from Distance Learning

5.2 John L. Buono Award for Civic Engagement
The John L. Buono Award for Civic Engagement, named for the college’s fifth president, who retired December 2003, is awarded to a graduating senior (or recent graduate) of the college who has shown a commitment to community service through volunteer work.
