The nomination deadline is Tuesday, April 12 for teh following student awards:
The President’s Award
Criteria: Hudson Valley graduating senior who has made significant contributions to Hudson Valley Community College and/or community; e.g. volunteer activities, extracurricular activities, leadership, etc. (Recipient will receive an engraved plaque.)
The Doris & Hy Rosenblum Consideration Award
Criteria: Hudson Valley graduating senior who has demonstrated the qualities of caring and community service. (Recipient receives a $500 cash award provided by the Foundation.)
The recipients of the President’s Award and The Doris & Hy Rosenblum Consideration Award must be either HONORS OR POTENTIAL HONORS GRADUATES, i.e. cumulative degree indices of 3.50 or higher at the end of the fall 2015 semester. These awards are presented by the President at the Student Honors and Awards Ceremony.
Please submit nominations by Tuesday, April 12, 2016, to Eileen Maloney, technical assistant, at e.maloney@hvcc.edu or deliver them to the Guenther Enrollment Services Center, Room 159.
