The President’s Award
Criteria: Significant contributions made to Hudson Valley Community College and/or community by a student; e.g. volunteer activities, extracurricular activities, leadership, etc. (Recipient will receive an engraved plaque.)
The Doris & Hy Rosenblum Consideration Award
Criteria: Hudson Valley graduating senior who has demonstrated the qualities of caring and community service. (Recipient receives a $350 cash award provided by the Foundation.)
The recipients of the President’s Award and The Doris & Hy Rosenblum Consideration Award must be either HONORS OR POTENTIAL HONORS GRADUATES, i.e. cumulative degree indices of 3.50 or higher at the end of the fall 2014 semester. These awards are presented by the President at the Student Honors and Awards Ceremony.
Please submit nominations by Friday, April 17, 2015, to Eileen Maloney, technical assistant, at e.maloney@hvcc.edu or deliver them to the Guenther Enrollment Services Center, Room 159.
