The nomination deadline is Monday, April 10 for the following student awards:
The President’s Award
Criteria: Hudson Valley graduating senior who has made significant contributions to Hudson Valley Community College and/or community; e.g. volunteer activities, extracurricular activities, leadership, etc. (Recipient receives a cash award provided by the Faculty Student Association.)
The Doris & Hy Rosenblum Consideration Award
Criteria: Hudson Valley graduating senior who has demonstrated the qualities of caring and community service. (Recipient receives a cash award provided by the Foundation.)
The recipients of the President’s Award and The Doris & Hy Rosenblum Consideration Award must be either HONORS OR POTENTIAL HONORS GRADUATES, i.e. cumulative degree indices of 3.50 or higher at the end of the fall 2016 semester. These awards are presented by the President at the Student Honors and Awards Ceremony.
Please submit nominations by Monday, April 10, 2017, to Eileen Maloney, technical assistant, at e.maloney@hvcc.edu or deliver them to the Guenther Enrollment Services Center, Room 159.
