Student Outreach and Support Call Center

 

In 2009-10, the staff of the Call Center completed 32,552 calls in 48 evenings spread throughout the academic year. The number of calls, a new record, was 5 percent greater than the previous year.

The 2010-11 schedule kicks off on Tuesday, Sept. 7 with calls to remind students in online courses to participate early and often in those courses. The following week, new students will be welcomed to the college and asked if they have any questions or concerns now that the term has begun.

The Call Center is staffed by current, former and retired employees of the college who are knowledgeable about the enrollment/registration process and student support services. The Student Outreach and Support Call Center is gearing up for 2010-11 after wrapping up a record year in mid-August.
