On Saturday, Aug. 24, the Student Affairs team will be offering a fun and informational day for new students and their families that is designed to give further insight into the services and resources offered here at Hudson Valley Community College. The day will include breakout sessions, a light breakfast and refreshments, prizes and giveaways!
These special information sessions help students, parents and families learn how to support their new college student. Topics will include:
- Tips for encouraging student success
- Tutoring and mentoring resources
- Wellness offerings and student activities
- Career and transfer planning assistance
- Overview of WIReD
- Optional campus tours
- General enrollment and student services information tables
