We wanted to remind everyone that Veteran Mentors are on campus to help our student veterans adapt to their new mission as a college student.
If you know any students who are Veterans or are currently serving, please share this information with them. Refer them to come meet with a Veteran Mentor and learn more about the academic and other resources available for student veterans and their families.
In addition, if they have questions about their veteran benefits, we also can help answer questions and/or direct them to the proper resources.
We are located in the Center for Academic Engagement, Siek Campus Center, Second Floor, Suite 230. The office is open from 8-5. You may contact us at 518-629-7529 or email veteranmentors@hvcc.edu.
The CAE also is offering workshops to support student veteran needs on Mondays — March 7, April 4, and April 18 — in BRN 214 at 3 p.m. (after the Armed Forces Club meeting).
