Congratulations to Sammy Foda and Cole Tippins for passing the AutoCAD Certified Users Exam!
Sammy and Cole are enrolled in the Computer-Aided Drafting Certificate program and the first students to take the exam at the Hudson Valley Community College site. The Computer-Aided Drafting Certificate program focuses on proficiency in specialized drafting and modeling software in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, architecture, and civil engineering industries, and now offers the option of becoming certified users of industry CAD software.
Assistant Professor Peter Fil has linked Hudson Valley Community College as a Certiport Testing Center and is currently offering certification user exams in AutoCAD for students. Future offerings would include AutoCAD Professional and Revit User and Professional exams.
As Certified AutoCAD Users, students receive digital badges to enhance resumes and social media accounts to help differentiate them from other job candidates, as well as printable certificates of their accomplishment, and the AutoDesk certification logo to use on business cards, letterhead and other materials to validate their credentials.
The exam provides another way for students to validate their investment at Hudson Valley, be prepared for regional CAD jobs and secure the backing of AutoDesk’s standards worldwide.
