About 50 Hudson Valley Community College students and staff took a Center for Access and Assistive Technology-sponsored bus to the NYS Capitol on Feb. 11 to take part in the first-ever rally for funds to support college students with disabilities.
The event, sponsored by the New York State Disability Services Council and the NYS Coalition for Students With Disabilities, included a press conference on the “million-dollar staircase” in the Capitol.
