Thank you for all of your efforts and outreach to encourage student vaccination against COVID-19 ahead of the Sept. 30 deadline. I am pleased to share that as of 9 p.m. last evening, the college reached a 98.4% COVID-19 vaccination rate for students on campus.
Only 84 students have yet to show proof of vaccination or file a religious or medical exemption with our college Health Services office. Please note that these students were administratively withdrawn from on-campus course sections last night. However, the college will provide a grace period until Oct. 15 for students to comply with SUNY’s vaccination mandate and be reinstated in Fall 2021 courses.
Students will be responsible for making up any missed coursework between Sept. 30 and the date you are reinstated, and they should contact Health Services at 518-629-7468 for next steps.
