Summer and Fall 2022 COVID-19 Vaccine Requirements

Returning and prospective students:

With summer and fall 2022 course registration opening soon, please review the college’s related COVID-19 vaccine requirements below.

All students registering for in-person summer and/or fall 2022 classes must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination (a two-dose series of Pfizer/Moderna or one-dose of Johnson & Johnson) prior to registration. At this time, COVID-19 boosters are highly recommended, but not required, for upcoming terms.

  • If you are vaccinated, you must submit proof to the Health Services office by using the “Submit Vaccination Record” form on the college’s COVID-19 webpage, if you have not done so already.
  • If you cannot receive a vaccine for religious or medical reasons, you should complete the appropriate Request for Exemption from Vaccination/Immunization available on the Health Services Forms webpage, if you have not done so already.

NOTE: Health Science students are not eligible to receive an exemption, and some programs and related clinical/internship settings may require a COVID-19 booster.

Students who have not submitted proof of vaccination, or received an approved exemption, will not be able to register for in-person classes until doing so. Those with an approved exemption who come to campus must participate in weekly COVID-19 surveillance testing offered on campus.

The college’s vaccine requirements and other health and safety protocols are subject to change, so please continue to check your Hudson Valley email, and visit www.hvcc.edu/covid19 for additional information.

Thank you.
