Summer Hours Begin Monday, May 19

Are you a HVCC Classified/NIEU Staff member?

Your summer hours begin Monday, May 19, 2025. All offices must be open until 4 p.m. If your shift does not end by 4 p.m., your hours should be changed to 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a half hour for lunch. This should be in effect only until Friday, July 25, 2025.

There is no work obligation on Fridays during this period and these Summer Leave Days have already been added into your Kronos timecard.

You have been granted 28 hours of Summer Hours leave which you will see in your accruals tab in Kronos. These hours may be taken in no less than half hour increments and may be used in conjunction with holidays and vacation. They must be used by November 30, 2025.

In Kronos, you will record your work hours as usual and any Summer Hours will be recorded as either EO-SD1 or SD1.

Physical Plant and Public Safety classified staff have a different summer schedule. If you have any questions, please contact your supervisor or Meg Ricci in HR.
